Danielle Crampsie uses jewellery as a social indicator to communicate ideas relevent to today’s society. Her work explores the symbols and values of contemporary culture.  Using jewellery as a means of communication, Danielle's pieces record history, communicate tradition, make social commentary, promote unity and give individuals a way of expressing their identity.  By examining cultural markers, defining who relates to them and determining why we can use jewellery as a tool for communication to form a new visual language, cross cultural boundaries and define an era.
